Our Journey along the way

Amidst the unexpected challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we found ourselves on an unforeseen adventure, compelled to stay in Peru for six months during the country’s lockdown. What initially seemed like a setback quickly transformed into a journey of inspiration and purpose, laying the foundation for Pima Prima®’s sustainable fashion journey.

Canete Valley

During our extended stay, we ventured into the Canete Valley, known as the heartland of Pima Cotton (ELS)—the “white gold” of Peru. Immersed in this breathtaking landscape, we discovered more than just a fabric; we encountered a rich tradition woven into the fabric of local life. The farmers, with their deep-rooted knowledge and sustainable practices, cultivate Pima Cotton in harmony with nature, ensuring its exceptional quality while preserving the environment

Tees for Trees Initiative

Guided by local experts, we ventured into Peru’s Palo Santo forests, known for their fragrant wood used in sacred rituals. Amidst the whispering leaves and warm sun, we learned about local ecosystem challenges. With shovels in hand and hearts filled with purpose, we joined the community to plant young Palo Santo saplings, nurturing each for future shade, shelter, and aromatic essence.

Production and Logistic

In our pursuit of excellence at Pima Prima®, we found the perfect manufacturing facility in Peru. Using pre-wash technology, we ensure our Women’s T-Shirts are shrink-free, maintaining their fit wash after wash. We’ve streamlined logistics to deliver these premium Pima cotton shirts to California, combining quality with sustainable practices every step of the way.
